Hi, thanks for reading more about me.

I’m George Shenouda. I grew up in Toms River, New Jersey, and I’m now based in South Jersey. I’m a Financial Advisor and Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC) at Merrill Lynch in Princeton.

My story

My father immigrated from Egypt and built a business here from nothing. At his peak, he owned and managed five 7-Eleven stores. My brother and I helped run them growing up, which is probably where I got my work ethic and my interest in business.

I’m an Eagle Scout. I studied Finance and Entrepreneurship at Rutgers Business School in New Brunswick, and that’s where I got serious about financial planning as a career.

Work

At Merrill Lynch, I work with clients on retirement planning, investment strategy, education funding, and asset allocation. I spend most of my time getting to know people and figuring out what they actually need, which is usually different from what they think they need when they first walk in.

I’m also building American Social Hub, where I run professional and social networking events. The idea is simple: get people in a room together. I think we have lost a lot of that in this country and I want to help bring it back.

Community

I’m a member of the Princeton Corridor Rotary Club, the Princeton Mercer Chamber of Commerce, and the PSG of Mercer County Job Seekers Group. I also serve on the board of The Breakfast Club of NJ Jobseekers Group.
